From The Same Soul

The Spiritual Journey of a Twin Soul Romance

By Nelly Santoso

Story Synopsis

From The Same Soul

This is an original fiction that follows the intertwined lives of a Singaporean spiritual guide in her fifties and a British stand-up comedian twenty years her junior whose connection transcended age, culture and convention.

They met at Amsterdam attending the Mindvalley U, where the two women were awakened to a connection that profoundly shapes their spiritual growth and transforms both of their lives.

Exploring the fluidity of sexuality, the complexity of diverse cultures, and the sacred mirror of twin flame love, this novel is a reflective journey through passion, separation, reconciliation, and self-discovery over twenty years and across seven thousand miles.

You are invited not only to a love story, but into an exploration of what it means to be truly seen by another soul, to find wholeness through both union and separation, and the enduring nature of love beyond age or form.

Author’s Note

Open Your Heart and Mind

The first thing I would like you to know is that every word in the novel is written by me, and not generated by an AI (Artificial Intelligence). I do use AI to confirm the accuracy of some information, to research on certain places and events, or to find the word that escaped me, but never to write the sentences in the novel.

I did not write the novel for a particular group of people, and I know it is not for everybody either. Personal topics such as religion, sexuality, family, even wealth, are not easy topics to discuss about. I expect polarity but I also expect respect for the differences in opinion. What I hope for is an awareness before we react. That we will take a moment to sit with the triggered emotion, dig into our hearts and let love prevail.

For ultimately, the novel is a love story. With more conversations than descriptions. If you love “Before Sunrise”, then you will appreciate my writing (if you have not heard of the movie, oh please go watch the trilogy!).

You may share your thoughts and give ideas in the comments section. I may not be able to reply but I will be reading them. Your comments may be the inspiration I need to write for the day, and for that, I am grateful.

I hope you enjoy reading the novel as much as I enjoy writing it.
